RETURNING PATIENTS
Preparing for Your Next Appointment
During the COVID 19 Crisis, Dr. Padgett will go over your personal Progress Report update via TeleConferencing. Please call with questions.
Please take the time to carefully and completely fill out the necessary paperwork before your appointment. Doing so will immediately give Dr. Padgett a better idea of your progress since your last visit and will allow much more time for questions and discussion. Also, Workers' Compensation carriers require all prescribed treatments to be approved and authorized. Many commercial insurers are requiring the same, at least annually. Thorough completion of your paperwork helps to insure that your needs are met, your questions are answered, and that your treatments have a greater chance of being approved on a timely basis.
To save time at your next appointment, you may download a blank Progress Report, complete at home, and bring it to your next appointment.

Frequently Asked Questions
When is Dr. Padgett in the office?
Dr. Padgett's clinic hours vary, but he is often in the office on Monday, Tuesday, sometimes Wednesday, and Thursdays. Fridays he usually has clinic in the mornings only. Upon occasion, Dr. Padgett will also hold a Saturday clinic to make access more convenient. There is a Patient Care Coordinator on duty to answer phone calls Monday through Friday. If all of our office lines are busy, your call may go to voice mail. Please leave a BRIEF, but detailed message, and we will respond promptly.
What is Dr. Padgett's policy on late cancellations and no-shows for appointments?
We know that sometimes life can be unpredictable and busy. We may waive the fee the first time, unless it is following an initial/first appointment. Each subsequent late cancellation or no-show will incur a fee that is dependent upon your office visit type. Your insurance will not pay this fee, so it is important for you to give us adequate notice if you cannot make an appointment. We require that you make all changes to your appointments at least 48 business hours in advance. Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late to an appointment may be required to pay a no-show fee and reschedule for a later date. Patients with too many no-shows or late cancellations may be discharged as this type of attendance negatively impacts your treatment plan.
Was my treatment authorized?
For commercial insurance patients: Authorizations from insurances often take more time than we all like. If delays become too prolonged, please call our office and we will try to assist you.
For Workers' Compensation patients: If you have not received any information from your insurance or adjuster or if you have not received a call from our office, then most likely no decision has been made. You should contact your carrier or adjuster first.
